Business concepts: marketing, sales, service: Part 2 ? Wellness ...

?

Business is about exchanges and both the giver and the receiver hope to feel good about that exchange.

YOU AS THE PROFESSIONAL

If I give you more than what is fair in terms of good quality service and you give less than what is fair in terms of money, how will I ultimately feel about what I?m doing over the long haul?

?

YOU AS THE CUSTOMER

As a customer, you want a fair exchange for services rendered. If you pay me more than what is fair in terms of money and you receive less than what is fair in terms of service, you most likely will not return for any future exchange with my business.

In any business transaction, both the customer and the service provider want to be honoured and this requires that there is a fair price for a good service.? And, if you want to stay in the game as a service provider, the exchange principle goes both ways ? so don?t sell yourself short as a service provider in the natural healing arts which is something that this industry and the people in it have often struggled with ? putting a fair value on the talents, skills, and experience that we have to offer others.

An exchange feels good when both parties feel the exchange is fair.

Stay awake, aware, and alert and strive to lead a well-tempered life ? a life that possesses both hardiness and flexibility.? The good news is that once you are awake, it?s hard to go to sleep again, but if you do, do it on purpose and prepare yourself for the consequences.
