San Diego Mayor Bob Filner decided Friday it?s time to get some help for his inappropriate behavior after seven former female employees said he sexually harassed them at work.?

?The behavior I engaged in over many years was wrong. ? I will be entering a behavior counseling clinic to undergo two weeks of intensive therapy to begin the process of addressing my behavior.??(Via KSWB)

In his press conference, Filner apologized to his entire staff and said his intensive counseling will be full-time starting Aug. 5. The San Diego mayor didn?t take any questions from reporters following his announcement. (Via KFMB)

And Filner?s newest accusers come right as Democratic leaders in San Diego have called for his resignation.

?We think it?s in the best interest for the city of San Diego for the mayor to step down.?

San Diego County Democratic Party leaders said they were moved by the accusers stories and voted 34-6 to ask Filner to resign. (Via KGTV)

But Filner hasn?t hinted at stepping down, leaving two options open for his resignation: ?... a recall election or conviction of a felony,? the latter of which might be forthcoming. (Via Los Angeles Times)

According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Sheriff?s Department set up a hotline for accusers to call and report misconduct. The allegations will help the department decide if it needs to open an investigation against Filner.

Filner has denied allegations from all seven accusers.
