This is one of the best vehicles ever made for ANY purpose use. This truck can be driven into the mountains for the ultimate camping adventure, taken down the road at 50mph with its 6 speed transmission to a car show, or used on the farm for everyday tasks! WIth only 69,000 original kilometers (about 40,000 miles) this 404 has thousands of miles ahead of it. This was a German vehicle, and was imported to the US 15 years ago. It was owned by a military collector in California, where it was garaged, and used occasionally in parades. It is even more rare that it is all original and sporting its original gear:-Full tool cartridge under bed. Shovel Axe and Pick-Tire chock-Extra Fuel can-Original Canvass top. AND Bench Seats still in back! I have not installed the top so it may need some adjustments. The canvass is in great shape with no signigicant tears or damage.-Full Service Manual-Original Tow Chains. BOTH BAGS!-Original wash bag with sponge!-Road triangle-etc?Please review its specifications and upgrades:-Matching numbers-The engine has just been tuned (new plugs, wires, oil. and filter, new water pump, radiator flush etc.)-The top is the rounded convertible top, typical of the German Unimogs. -All fluids have been changed with the right gear oil, that does not hurt yellow metals.-This is the shorter wheelbase, which is very rare.-The truck drives very well, and will do 50 MPH on flat land.Yet again these are amazing vehicles and it is very rare to find a specimen like this one around today. I have personally driven this rig all over Denver prior to sale and will personally attest to its reliability and functionality.
